Dudley headed back to Suns on three-year deal
Jared Dudley is reportedly coming back to Phoenix.
Multiple reports Friday night said the forward had agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with the Suns, for whom Dudley played five seasons, and the 30-year-old confirmed it via Twitter.
Dudley originally came to the Suns with Jason Richardson for Raja Bell and Boris Diaw in 2008. He became a fan favorite before he was traded to the Clippers as a part of the deal that brought Eric Bledsoe to Phoenix.
After one year in Los Angeles, Dudley played one season with the Bucks and then with the Wizards. He averaged 7.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game with Washington last season, when he transitioned into a stretch power forward and was one of the NBA's top 3-point shooters, making 42 percent of his long-range shots.
The reported contract terms for Dudley are the same ones Mirza Teletovic reported agreed to with the Bucks earlier Friday.
Dudley can officially sign his contract on Thursday.
