Eddie Lack's immediate future set with Canes

On Saturday afternoon, the Hurricanes secured Eddie Lack through the 2017-18 season with a two-year extension worth $5.5 million. The new contract will pay the 27-year-old netminder $2.5 million in 2016-17 and $3 million in 2017-18.
