Egypt's El Sherbini, Germany's Rosner win NYC squash tourney

NEW YORK (AP) Top-ranked Nour El Sherbini of Egypt and No. 8 Simon Rosner of Germany won the squash Tournament of Champions.

El Sherbini rallied past No. 8 Nour El Tayeb 2-11, 11-6, 4-11, 11-7, 11-7 Thursday night at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal. She also won the event in 2016.

Rosner defeated No. 7 Tarek Momen of Egypt 11-8, 11-9, 6-11, 11-5. Rosner reached the final after upsetting top-ranked Gregory Gaultier of France in the semifinals.

El Sherbini improved to 10-0 this season after winning the Saudi Masters title this month.
