Left-hander Eric Skoglund is back with the Kansas City Royals for the third time this season as right-hander Neftali Feliz deals with an injury.

The Royals announced Saturday that they have placed Feliz on the 10-day disabled list with right ulnar nerve palsy. His DL stint is retroactive to August 14, making him eligible to return on August 24. To replace Feliz on the 25-man roster, the club has recalled Skoglund from Triple-A Omaha.

The 24-year-old Skoglund will be in uniform, wearing No. 69, for Saturday night's game with the Cleveland Indians. The lefty has a 4-5 record and a 4.07 ERA in 20 starts this year for the Storm Chasers. He's performed particularly well during his most recent stint in the minors, going 2-1 with a 3.33 ERA since being optioned on July 3. He made his big-league debut on May 30 vs. Detroit, tossing 6 1/3 shutout innings in a 1-0 triumph. Skoglund is 1-1 with a 5.59 ERA in three starts with the Royals this season.
