Everton and England central defender John Stones will ask for a £38million ($58.5m) release clause when he starts talks over a new deal at Goodison Park.

Stones will reportedly "consider" signing a new contract as long as he has a clause which allows him to leave if Chelsea match the £38m bid they made for the 21-year-old last month.


Southampton fear the Netherlands will send an SOS for manager Ronald Koeman following a dismal start to Danny Blind's reign.
