FanDuel NFL: Week 15 Lineup (Mon-Thurs) is a column highlighting the best player options for your FanDuel NFL lineups focusing on salary and expected points considering opposing matchups each week. The intention of this article is to help you build your FanDuel NFL lineup for the most likely big payday each week.
This article is focused on two NFL games scheduled this Monday and Thursday ONLY. One of the many slots FanDuel NFL allows you to play is the Monday & Thursday night games combined. This week, we have the Washington Redskins hosting the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football, followed by the New York Giants playing in Philadelphia versus the Eagles.
Also, along with the recommended lineup option for each position, is a ‘hand-off’ option if you would prefer to fade the suggested option. The Hand-Off options are listed in order of greatest value.
Now, let’s take a look at the players we’re targeting for quarterback:

FanDuel NFL Week 15 (Mon/Thurs) – QB
In my Sun-Mon article, we discuss playing Kirk Cousins ($7,500) for under $8,000 as a steal! So let’s recall why.
Cousins is averaging over 22 FanDuel NFL points per game over the last nine weeks. On DraftKings, Kirk is a top three most expensive QB this week, with good reason. But for some reason, FanDuel has Cousins listed 19th for the Sun-Mon slot.
Matchup-wise, Cousins also has a great situation. The Redskins are playing a Carolina Panthers team who was fantastic with all phases of their defense last season. But this year, while the Panthers are still good on the line and at linebacker, their pass coverage is 26th in the NFL. Carolina let several defense backs walk for more money, paying or cheaper options and the rest of the NFL is grateful. Cousins and the Redskins passing game is poised for a great day on Monday.
FanDuel NFL Hand-Off QB Options:
Cam Newton ($7,700 / WAS)
Eli Manning ($7,700 / PHI)

FanDuel NFL Week 15 (Mon/Thurs) – RB’s
Jonathan Stewart ($6,100) has been fantastic against run defenses who aren’t ranked in the top ten. Fortunately for Stewart on Monday Night, the Redskins have struggled to stop the run. That means Jonathan is likely to land another double-digit FanDuel NFL game. Also, considering the options we have at running back for Monday & Thursday night, Stewart is a slam-dunk option.
Before the Eagles played the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, I was intrigued by using Ryan Mathews ($5,000) against the New York Giants. When healthy, Mathews has demonstrated the ability to have 100+ yard and 1-2 touchdown games, like he did against the Falcons in mid-November. And now, the Eagles are depleted at the running back position and Mathews has to be their featured back given his contract.
Then, the Eagles surprised everyone against the Ravens, the NFL’s top rushing defense, and ran for 128 yards on 20 caries, and scoring a touchdown AND two point conversion. Look for Ryan Mathews to continue to roll on Thursday night against the Giants defense who’s better at stopping the pass than the run.
FanDuel NFL Hand-Off RB Options:
Rob Kelley ($5,900 / Car)

FanDuel NFL Week 15 – WR’s
Odell Beckham Jr. ($8,600) is absolutely on fire as the Giants close in on a playoff spot. Beckham has four straight double-digit FanDuel NFL games, scoring 16.3 this past weekend. Also, Odell has seven touchdowns in the last seven games, so he’s very likely going to score another 10+ points in each of his last two games. This Thursday, the Giants have an Eagles defense who, while good, is giving up big plays to big name wide receivers weekly. We have plenty of salary, and Beckham is an absolute ‘must-have’ this week.
We already talked about how much we like Cousins on Monday night. So we’ve got to use his favorite wide receiver target, Jamison Crowder ($6,100). Like Beckham, Crowder has been on fire this season, although we hear less praise about Crowder in the media. Over the last nine games, Crowder has eight double-digit point games. The Redskins are playing a Carolina Panthers secondary that is a young shell of its former self. Jamison should have ample opportunity to score on Monday night.
My third pick is starting to sound like a ‘broken record.’ Carson Wentz has struggled since the Eagles bye week early in the season. Wentz is still throwing more interceptions than touchdowns. But, Wentz and Jordan Matthews ($5,700) connect often, making Matthews an intriguing weekly FanDuel NFL WR option. The last time the Eagles played the Giants, Matthews was targeted ten times, had six receptions and 88 yards. If Wentz can find Jordan in the end zone, Matthews will be a top three FanDuel NFL wideout this week.
FanDuel NFL Hand-Off WR Options:
Kelvin Benjamin ($6,600 / WAS)
Pierre Garcon ($5,400 / CAR)
Sterling Shepard ($5,300 / PHI)

FanDuel NFL Week 15 (Mon/Thurs) – TE/K/DST
This past Sunday I liked Zach Ertz ($5,900). He scored a servicable 11 FanDuel NFL points. But we have plenty of salary left over and it’s worth spending it on Greg Oslen (6,300).
Olsen is Cam Newton‘s favorite target, and he’s scoring between 6 and 20 FanDuel NFL points each week. That may seem like a wide-range, but 6 points per week from a tight end is hard to come by in the NFL, and the 20 point games give you an idea of his ceiling value.
FanDuel NFL Hand-Off TE Options:
Jordan Reed ($6,800 / CAR) ONLY IF PLAYING
Zach Ertz ($5,900)
Kicker: Dustin Hopkins ($4,600 / CAR)
Some Redskins fans are concerned about Hopkins, because of key missed field goals. However, as an Eagles fan I dread Hopkins, because he’s very good. Dustin may have missed a few key field goals, but like many great field goal kickers they are only noticeable because everyone has grown used to Hopkins making the majority of his attempts. The Redskins will have ample scoring opportunities against a terrible Panthers secondary. Hopkins is a top five FG this week.
Defense: Philadelphia Eagles ($4,300 / PHI)
The Philadelphia Eagles, as a team, are struggling to clinch wins this season. The Eagles are now 5-9, in last place in the NFL East, and have lost their last five straight games. However, that’s mostly not the defensive unit’s fault.
The Eagles have stayed close in every game they’ve lost, losing maybe by a field goal or less. In fact, even though the Eagles are in last place, they have a +17 point margin. At home, is where the Eagles play their best. Also, the Eagles defense has been forcing turnovers, and their special teams find ways to score. They should be at, or close to, double-digit points on Thursday Night.
This lineup should land us with $5,800 salary left, and roughly 125 points. As always, keep an eye on the injury reports, with some injury concerns for our lineup options each week. Good Luck FanDulers!
