Fantasy Football: Tom Brady suspended four games, U.S. Appeal Court rules

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:19 a.m. ET

Here's the July 15, 2016 update on Tom Brady's suspension and its fantasy impact.

----ORIGINAL ARTICLE------------

Nearly a year ago, May 11, 2015 to be specific, I wrote this Tom Brady four-game suspension fantasy football impact analysis and what it meant for Jimmy Garoppolo at the time. Until we learn about Brady’s next steps in the appeals process, the only variable that changed in my analysis from a year ago is the Patriots’ schedule and games to be missed.

For what it's worth, Brady averaged 25.5 fantasy points per game through the first eight games of the 2015 season. He averaged 17.4 the second half of the season, but just 15.9 FFPG during the fantasy football playoffs - Weeks 14-16.
