IRVING, Texas -- Washington Redskins veteran linebacker London Fletcher announced Wednesday that he's "99 percent" sure he will retire at the end of the season.

With the Redskins hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Fletcher said, "I want to thank my fans and beat the Dallas Cowboys. What better way to end it?"

In 14 games against the Cowboys, Fletcher, 38, has 120 tackles, three sacks, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and nine passes defensed.

Fletcher, who has played in 254 consecutive games, was an undrafted free agent out of John Carroll. He spent four years in St. Louis and five in Buffalo before joining Washington in 2007.
