Former Twins star Morneau joins FOX Sports North's broadcast team as analyst
In conjunction with the Minnesota Twins, FOX Sports North unveiled the broadcast team for the network’s 2018 baseball season on Tuesday, which is highlighted by the addition of a new analyst -- former Twins star Justin Morneau.
Morneau will make an appearance during the first intermission of Tuesday's Wild telecast on FOX Sports North to discuss his new role.
Emmy Award-winning play-by-play announcer Dick Bremer enters his 35th season in the booth with an impressive lineup of Twins alumni, including National Baseball Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven and four-time World Series champion and 2018 National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Jack Morris, along with 1987 Twins World Series champion Roy Smalley and former Twins standouts Torii Hunter and LaTroy Hawkins, as well as Morneau. Morneau played 14 seasons in the major leagues (11 with the Twins), appeared in three All-Star games and won the American League MVP in 2006.
Also contributing to FOX Sports North’s Twins coverage as sideline reporters during the 2018 season are Audra Martin, Kevin Gorg and Marney Gellner.
Twins Live presented by CenturyLink, the network’s half-hour pre- and postgame show, returns with hosts Tom Hanneman and Anthony LaPanta with 1987 Twins World Series champion Tim Launder serving as primary analyst.
