Forward Greg McKegg signs one-year contract with Florida Panthers

SUNRISE, Fla - Florida Panthers General Manager Tom Rowe announced today the Panthers have agreed to terms with forward Greg McKegg on a one-year, two-way contract.
The 24-year old McKegg recorded two goals in 15 games with Florida during the 2015-16 season and played in one postseason game. McKegg also played in 47 games with Florida's American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates recording 23 points (10-13-23). McKegg played in three postseason games with the Pirates recording one goal.
The 6-foot, 191-pound native of St. Thomas, Ontario has played in 19 NHL games for Florida (2015-16) and Toronto (2013-15). McKegg was originally selected by Toronto in the third round (62nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
