FOX Sports North, Wild announce 2015-16 telecast schedule
FOX Sports North and the Minnesota Wild announced on Wednesday the team's telecast slate for the 2015-16 campaign. Coverage begins Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m., with Wild Live pre- and postgame coverage from Colorado, as the Wild battle the Avalanche (that game will air on NBCSN).
FOX Sports North's game coverage begins with the home opener, on Saturday, Oct. 10, as the Wild duel the St. Louis Blues at Xcel Energy Center. A special one-hour episode of Wild Live presented by CenturyLink starts at 6 p.m. that night.
The schedule includes 34 telecasts at Xcel Energy Center and 36 road contests. The Wild's matchup versus St. Louis on Saturday, Feb. 6, will serve as the marquee event for the tenth annual Hockey Day Minnesota, presented by Wells Fargo.
Wild telecasts on FOX Sports North will feature play-by-play announcer Anthony LaPanta, color analyst Mike Greenlay and reporter Kevin Gorg. Tom Hanneman and Jamie Hersch will host Wild Live presented by CenturyLink before and after every game, with analysis from Wes Walz, Tom Chorske and Ben Clymer.
Additionally, the regional sports network will continue to air "Becoming Wild." The new season for that program is set to debut on Friday, Sept. 25.
FOX Sports North's 70-game Wild telecast schedule includes seven telecasts on FOX Sports North PLUS (click here for PLUS channel listings).
