Every Wednesday, FOX Sports Wisconsin takes a look at which athletes' stock is trending up and whose is trending down.
In other words, who is making a meteoric rise, and who is quickly plummeting.
With that in mind, let's "take stock" of the current sports scene in Wisconsin, shall we?

Morgan Burnett, Packers S
Truthfully, there was little to praise in the Packers' 38-8 setback at the hands of the Cardinals last Sunday, but Burnett had a second straight solid performance. At Arizona, Burnett rang up a game-high 10 total tackles, including a tackle for loss. A week earlier, in a 30-20 Green Bay road win against Oakland, the sixth-year strong safety registered a team-high eight total tackles and had two passes defensed. Burnett, 26, has six games with at least seven tackles this season.
Milwaukee Panthers basketball
After dispatching host Minnesota, 74-65, in their last outing, the Panthers ended calendar year 2015 boasting a 9-4 record this season. In the win in Minneapolis, junior guard Jordan Johnson led the way, scoring 19 points while dishing out 10 assists and pulling down nine rebounds. Milwaukee led much of the way against its Big Ten host, as each Panther starter scored in double digits. Milwaukee is currently 3-1 on the road this season.
Marquette's frontcourt
Big men Henry Ellenson and Luke Fischer tormented Presbyterian in Sunday's 84-66 home win, combining for 29 total rebounds and 34 points. Marquette grabbed 53 rebounds as a team, as it improved to 10-2 overall and 7-2 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center this season. Sunday's victory simply continued a season-long trend for the Golden Eagles' big duo, as it has 11 combined double-digit rebound games. Fischer, a junior center, is averaging 14.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game; Ellenson, a prized, 6-foot-10 freshman, is faring even better, averaging 16.8 points and 9.8 rebounds.

Green Bay's offensive line
The Packers' "Big Uglies" up front looked positively unsightly in Arizona over the weekend, allowing QB Aaron Rodgers to get battered around all day. The Cardinals rang up an unthinkable nine sacks and 12 QB hits. The porous offensive line also played a role in Rodgers' three fumbles on the day. If Green Bay can't patch up its shaky O-line quickly, a quick postseason exit could be in the Packers' future.
Jabari Parker, Bucks F
Milwaukee's second-year phenom has encountered a cold stretch recently. Parker, last year's second overall draft pick, has scored in single digits in three straight games. In Monday's 10-point setback at the hands of Dallas, the 20-year-old power forward scored just six points on 2-for-7 shooting from the field. And, in Tuesday's eight-point loss at Oklahoma City, Parker scored just five points, on 2-for-11 shooting. The former Duke Blue Devil is averaging 10.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game this season.
Clay Matthews, Packers LB
It might be hard to believe, but Green Bay's star inside linebacker recorded zero tackles in Sunday's loss to Arizona. In fact, that was the second straight game in which "The Claymaker" was rendered without a tackle. The 29-year-old registered just one sack throughout the month of December. Either his recent sluggish play is simply an aberration, or Matthews' ankle ailment is limiting his play. Either way, Matthews had better be on top of his game this Sunday, as Minnesota's star rusher, Adrian Peterson, awaits.
