ARIZONA-- Padres OF Franchy Cordero made a little bit of history on Friday night at Chase Field.

With two outs in the fourth inning, Cordero crushed a home run off the scoreboard to give his team a 1-0 lead. It was hit so hard that, initially, Statcast was unable to determine the distance of the home run.

A half inning later, the results were in.

116.3 MPH exit velocity, 489 feet long.
