Halos to unveil life-sized Mike Trout bobblehead at Angel Stadium
Mike Trout is already larger than life.
Now, he will have a bobblehead that complements his status as the Face of Baseball.
The Angels will reveal a life-sized bobblehead (standing at 6-foot-2) of the reigning American League Most Valuable Player on Friday prior to the Rangers-Angels game on FOX Sports West.
Trout, who recently became the first player in MLB history to win back-to-back All-Star Game MVP honors, battled .287 with a career-high 36 home runs during the 2014 season, when he also became the first unanimous MVP winner since Ken Griffey Jr. in 1997.
Trout, the third youngest to win MVP honors, was runner-up in 2012 and 2013. He's also the third Angels player (Don Baylor in 1979 and Vladimir Guerrero in 2004) to be named MVP.
