INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana guard James Blackmon Jr. has withdrawn from the NBA draft.

The Hoosiers made the announcement Tuesday.

Blackmon, a rising junior, missed the final 22 games last season after having knee surgery. He averaged 15.8 points in 13 games, shooting 46.3 percent on 3-pointers before getting hurt.

Blackmon announced in April he would enter the draft, though most people expected the former Indiana prep star to return to school.

The Hoosiers still have not yet said whether forward Troy Williams will stay in the draft. Williams, who just finished his junior season, has not hired an agent.
