Important: Nationals' Max Scherzer butchers name of game known as 'Rock-Paper-Scissors'

Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer is widely regarded as a highly intelligent, cerebral pitcher.

The subject arose when Grant (Paulsen) asked Scherzer — who currently boasts a 2.31 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and a 181/22 K/BB ratio over 156 innings — about his approach when facing the same lineups and same batters again later in the season. Paulsen likened it to a "cat-and-mouse game."

“Yep. That’s why I call it the ultimate game of ‘Paper-Scissors-Rock,'” Scherzer responded at the 4:00 mark (emphasis added, because that's just silly talk). “You have to keep balancing what works, and what has been overexposed and when to make an adjustment.”

Where did Max come up with that?!

The 2013 AL Cy Young winner and contender for this year's NL Cy Young has a microphone if he desires and is in a position of influence.

Anyone close to Scherzer should advise him on the game's correct title to prevent confusion among youths and RPS-loving adults.
