'Inside the Lightning: Ben Bishop' premieres Jan. 21 on FOX Sports Sun
TAMPA, Fla. -- From the rinks of St. Louis to the University of Maine, join us on FOX Sports Sun on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 10:30 p.m., as we debut "Inside the Lightning: Ben Bishop" upon conclusion of the Tampa Bay vs. Chicago Blackhawks game.
Growing up in the Gateway City, Ben Bishop was always a tall and athletic kid who played multiple sports. His heart led him to hockey, where he found his home between the pipes under the tutelage of Youth Hockey Coaches Scott Sanderson and Perry Turnbull. Ben's rise to eventual NHL All-Star began at the University of Maine, where host Paul Kennedy spoke with his first goalie coach in Maine Assistant Coach Grant Standbrook. "Inside the Lightning" also spoke with Ben's parents, Ken and Cindy, as well as Lightning Head Coach Jon Cooper, to find out what drives Ben to be the best.
