'Inside the Magic: Mo Buckets' premieres March 30 on FOX Sports Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. (March 29, 2018) -- Tune in Friday, March 30 at 10 p.m. on FOX Sports Florida, the exclusive television home of the Orlando Magic, as we get set to premiere an all-new episode of “Inside the Magic” upon conclusion of the Magic vs. Chicago Bulls game. “Inside the Magic: Mo Buckets” takes a look at the career of Orlando forward Marreese Speights, a Florida native who returned to the Sunshine State after playing nine seasons in the NBA.
FOX Sports Florida joined Marreese in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Fla., where we met his family and learned how they would not allow their environment to determine Mo’s future. We found out how he got cut from his eighth-grade basketball team, but didn’t give up, and continued to work on his craft to fulfill his dream. Speights brought his championship caliber DNA to the Magic this season after winning a National Championship in 2006 at the University of Florida and a NBA Championship in 2015 with the Golden State Warriors. The episode puts a premium on Speights’ decision to return home to Central Florida for his tenth year in the league, a decision that was impacted by his desire to continue giving back to an area that gave so much to him.
