Iowa's Marble: Embiid, Parker will be first two draft picks
Iowa guard Roy Devyn Marble is looking to hear his name called come draft night, but he's also been able to work out alongside potential top picks Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid as he prepares for the draft.
"They will go one and two," Marble said after his workout with the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. "I don't know how they will go, but they will go one and two. I see what they are capable of doing."
Marble thinks Parker is ready to come in and make an immediate offensive impact in the NBA.
"He'll come in and average 15 at the minimum, in my opinion," Marble said. "That's what he can do. He can get you a bucket. We all know he can do that. Whoever he gets drafted to is definitely going to be able to increase their offensive prowess."
Through all of his workouts with Embiid, Marble said he never saw any indication his back was an issue or hampered him in any way.
"Very good defender," Marble said. "He also has a very good offensive game, which I think is underrated. I know he only averaged 11 points in the season, but if you throw it to him on the block you are going to get something -- whether he is passing out of the double team or getting fouled.
"He's even working on his 3-point shot, which is really nice. I think as time goes by, he'll be even more refined offensively."
