Jaguars cut cornerback Demetrius McCray, 7 more to trim roster

The Jaguars also waived linebacker Joplo Bartu, receiver Shaq Evans, place-kicker Sam Ficken, cornerback Mike Hilton, running back Cameron Marshall, punter Ryan Quigley and receiver Jamal Robinson.
Jacksonville placed veteran offensive lineman Jeff Linkenbach (concussion) on injured reserve, put offensive lineman Luke Bowanko and rookie defensive lineman Jonathan Woodard on the physically unable to perform list, and waived/injured safety Earl Wolff (hamstring).
