Jaguars have 3 starters getting injuries checked out
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have a short week and a long injury list.
Defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks has a torn right triceps muscle and is getting a second option. Receiver Allen Hurns is having a sports hernia looked at by a specialist in Philadelphia. And running back T.J. Yeldon is having a foot injury evaluated.
All three injuries could be problematic for the Jaguars (3-6), who host Tennessee (2-7) on Thursday night.
Marks, who missed the first five games of the season while recovering from a knee injury, could end up on injured reserve. Hurns, who has a touchdown reception in a franchise-record seven consecutive games, won't attend a closed walkthrough Monday night. And Yeldon, the team's leading rusher, arrived at the facility Monday with his injury.
