Jaguars promote OL Rashod Hill from practice squad
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted rookie offensive lineman Rashod Hill from the practice squad to the active roster and released receiver Bryan Walters.
The Jaguars need Hill to provide depth since they could be without two starting offensive linemen against Baltimore on Sunday. Left tackle Kelvin Beachum (concussion) has been ruled out, and center Brandon Linder (knee) is questionable.
Hill originally signed with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent after starting for three years at Southern Mississippi.
Also Saturday, the Jaguars added cornerback Davon House to the injury report because of an illness. House, cornerback Prince Amukamara (hamstring) and safety Tashaun Gipson (hamstring) are all questionable.
