Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns must clear NFL's concussion protocol

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars aren't ruling out receiver Allen Hurns against Tennessee. At least not yet.

Hurns, who hasn't missed a game in his two NFL seasons, is in the league's concussion protocol after being strapped to a backboard and taken to a hospital Sunday. He was released about two hours after the game, a 31-25 loss to San Diego.

Hurns has 48 receptions for 758 yards and seven touchdowns this season.

Coach Gus Bradley had a brief conversation with Hurns on Monday and said, "I think we're all relieved that he's good."

If Hurns doesn't recover in time to play Sunday at the Titans, Bradley says Marqise Lee is "without a doubt" ready for an increased workload. Bradley adds that Lee "appears to be healthy and he feels healthy, so just try to incorporate him more."
