Jared Goff throws his first NFL touchdown pass in a Rams' loss (VIDEO)

The Los Angeles Rams suffered a lopsided loss 49-21 to the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday. But there was one ray of sunshine on an otherwise stormy day for Rams fans.

In his second NFL start, No. 1 pick Jared Goff showed signs of justifying his draft position with 3 TD passes including his first career NFL touchdown pass:

The 24-yard strike to Tavon Austin on the team's first possession got the Rams off to a quick start but it was all downhill from there. Despite two more TD passes, Goff turned the ball over twice and Drew Brees torched the Rams' secondary with 4 TDs of his own.

One step forward for Goff but two steps back for the 4-7 Rams.
