Joe Gibbs has seen worse teammate spats than Carl Edwards-Kyle Busch

The team meetings at Joe Gibbs Racing are going to be interesting this week, for sure.

Kyle Busch looked like he had Sunday's Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway all sewn up when on the last corner of the last lap, his JGR teammate Carl Edwards nudged Busch out of the way to win.

Afterwards, Busch was miffed, Edwards was diplomatic and team owner Joe Gibbs was conciliatory - all appropriate under the circumstances.

The good news for Gibbs is two-fold: 1. He's very good at making peace within the team; and 2. He's dealt with a lot worse before.

Like in the 2010 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, for example.

There, Hamlin was leading when Busch got a great run on him on the high side, only to see Hamlin slam the door on him, which wound up with Busch hitting the wall.

Afterwards, a furious Busch stormed into Hamlin's hauler and the two had an intense disagreement and discussion.

Compared to that, patching things up after Richmond ought to be a breeze.
