Jose Ramirez's breakout season guiding the first place Indians

Jose Ramirez's go-ahead two run home run in Sunday's Indians win over the Blue Jays capped off a weekend series in which all three games were decided by one run each and Friday's game was won by a Tyler Naquin inside-the-park walk off home run.

On Sunday, the Indians were down 2-1 heading into the 8th until Ramirez, who is batting .388 with runners in scoring position with 45 RBI, blasted a two run shot over the left field wall to help give the Tribe a 3-2 victory and the season series win over the Blue Jays.

Many thought the Indians would severely miss team MVP Michael Brantley who is lost for the season due to injury but Ramirez's breakout 2016 season is letting the Tribe lineup hum along without skipping a beat.

In his postgame comments Indians ace Corey Kluber gave his 23-year-old teammate high praise after Ramirez came through yet again in the clutch "Right now, there's probably nobody else I'd rather have up there in that situation."

This weekend's series between the Cleveland Indians and the Toronto Blue Jays, two of the American League's top teams, did not disappoint in what could be a preview of playoff baseball in October.
