Jubilant Cardinals backup QB Drew Stanton unleashes hilarious TD celebration on sideline

While watching the Arizona Cardinals seal a game they nearly let slip away against the divisional rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Cardinals backup quarterback Drew Stanton put on a celebratory display of sheer joy typically seen only in children, or maybe dogs welcoming home their owners from lengthy military deployments.

Stanton, a 31-year-old career backup who filled in admirably for an injured Carson Palmer last season before going down himself, had a perfect view of the play. Clinging to a 3-point lead with the ball at Seattle's 48-yard-line with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter, Cardinals running back Andre Ellington faked out safety Kam Chancellor and broke a run up the Cardinals' sideline right in front of Stanton.

From his front-row view, Stanton waved Ellington home like a third base coach (he scored on the play) and then unveiled this beautiful jumping and fist-pumping celebration:

Stanton even punctuated the celebration with a high leg kick, available for your viewing pleasure in the full clip here.
