Karasev to make D-League debut with Charge
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Cavaliers center Henry Sims, swingman Carrick Felix and swingman Sergey Karasev were assigned to the Canton Charge on Wednesday, team officials announced.
All three will be available for the Charge's home game tonight vs. the Tulsa 66ers (7 p.m.).
Karasev, the No. 19 overall pick in June's NBA Draft, is making his D-League debut. He has played in two games for the Cavs and is averaging 2.4 points.
Felix has appeared in three games for the Cavs, averaging 1.3. He has also played in two games for the Charge, averaging 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game.
Sims has appeared in six games for the Cavs, averaging 1.7 points and 2.8 rebounds. He is averaging 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in his two games with the Charge.
The Charge (5-1) are coming off their first loss of the season.
