PHOENIX -- Kate Longworth has been hired by FOX Sports Arizona to be a reporter during select Arizona Diamondbacks telecasts this season. Her first appearance on the network will be tonight's D-backs and Giants game that starts with the "Diamondbacks Live" pre-game show at 6 p.m.
This is a homecoming for the Emmy Award-winning Longworth, a University of Arizona and Mountain Pointe High School graduate who returns to Arizona after working for Comcast Sports Net in San Francisco.
