Kellen Winslow Sr. named Florida A&M athletic director
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Pro Football Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr. has been named the athletic director at Florida A&M, the school announced Monday night.
Winslow, an All-Pro tight end for the San Diego Chargers, joins Florida A&M after being the Director of Planning and New Business Development at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando.
He has prior experience as an athletic director at Central State (Ohio) University and as a vice president for athletics and wellness at Lakeland (Wisc.) College.
Winslow, 56, will be formally introduced on Wednesday afternoon. A five-time Pro Bowl pick, Winslow caught 541 passes for 6,741 yards and 45 touchdowns from 1979-87 with the Chargers.
