LaMarcus Aldridge banner will make its way into Phoenix recycling bin
The Phoenix Suns went all in for their recruitment of LaMarcus Aldridge, trading away Marcus Morris, Danny Granger and Reggie Bullock for cap space. The city of Phoenix pitched in too, producing a massive banner with Aldridge in a Suns jersey that was set to hang from a building downtown. Unfortunately, Aldridge spurned the Suns for the Spurs, leaving the Suns empty-handed and Phoenix with a giant, useless banner.

While the Suns may be at a loss for what to do with their newfound cap space, Phoenix mayor Greg Stanton knows exactly what to do with the banner:
For those inquiring about the future of the #LMA banner...Our city has one of the best recycling programs in the country.
