Love on Olynyk incident: 'Time heals all wounds'

Kevin Love isn't holding a grudge.

With the Cleveland Cavaliers in Boston for the first time since their sweep of the Celtics -- and Love's season-ending injury -- the Cavs star expressed no ill will toward the team that prevented him from playing into the NBA Finals.

"Time heals all wounds," Love told media members Tuesday. "We've put it in the past."

That's a much different tone than Love struck back in late April, when he dislocated his shoulder on a play in which he and Kelly Olynyk got tangled up.

"I thought it was a bush-league play. I have no doubt in my mind that he did that on purpose," Love said following the incident in Game 4 of that series.

In the direct aftermath, Olynyk insisted his intent was not to injure Love. He did, however, accept the likely repercussions of his actions.

"I'd probably get killed if I went to Cleveland right now," Olynyk told The Boston Globe a day after it happened.

Tuesday, Olynyk echoed Love's sentiments that all is good between the two.

"I apologized to him. He texted me back," Olynyk said. "I think we're all right right now."

The Cavs and Celtics meet in Cleveland on Feb. 5.
