Lute Olson to be featured speaker at NAU coaches event
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Hall of Fame coach Lute Olson will be keynote speaker at the fourth annual Lumberjack Basketball Coaches Dinner on Thursday, July 30.
The dinner precedes the Lumberjack Coaches Clinic on July 31-Aug. 1.
Olson, who had a 589-187 record in 25 seasons at Arizona, follows Ben Howland, Steve Kerr and George Karl as featured speaker at the event.
The clinic features Northern Arizona men's and women's head basketball coaches Jack Murphy and Sue Darling; visiting head coaches Lon Kruger (Oklahoma) and Jason Gardner (IUPUI); assistant coaches Ryan Kreuger, Jason Leavy and Aerick Sanders; and Los Angeles Clippers director of player development Dave Severns.
Tickets for the dinner are $95 per person and can be purchased online. Registration for the coaches clinic continues through July 30.
