Padres center fielder Manuel Margot was removed from Tuesday's game in the top of the ninth inning after being hit by a pitch in what appeared to be his ribs.

After working the count to 2-2, Margot was hit with a 95 mile-per-hour fastball by Scott Oberg and immediately went to the ground in pain. He was quickly removed from the game and helped off the field by the training staff.

The 23-year-old is hitting .159 with two stolen bases in 44 at-bats.
