Marathon man: Landon Cassill runs 14 miles after Coca-Cola 600
After completing Sunday's Coca-Cola 600, Landon Cassill swapped his driving suit for running shorts and ran 14 miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte.
Once he climbed from the No. 40 Snap Fitness Chevrolet, Cassill stretched out and set off on his route. Cassill was accompanied by two escort motorcylces along the route.
When Cassill arrived, he completed the 13.92-mile run in 1 hour, 41 minutes and 49 seconds. He had a 7:19-minute per mile average. Not too shabby for just racing 600 miles.
As if that was not enough, Cassill also competed in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race, a 300-mile event.
