Martin Perez sharp in Twins' 10-1 win over Pirates

The Minnesota Twins hit five home runs, while starter Martin Perez pitched four scoreless innings, in a 10-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday in Bradenton, Florida.
Perez, 27, signed with the Twins in January after spending seven seasons with the Texas Rangers.
The veteran left-hander struck out three, allowing just three hits and a walk.
LaMonte Wade got the Twins on the board with a three-run homer in the second, before Adam Rosales, Mitch Garver and Michael Reed hit home runs in the fifth inning to push the lead to 7-0.
Joe Cronin made it 10-0 with a two-run homer in the eighth.
Trevor Hildenberger, Fernando Romero and Chase De Jong also pitched for the Twins, allowing just one hit.
