Michigan's John Beilein wins exhibition game against son

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan coach John Beilein got the better of his son Patrick on Friday night when the 25th-ranked Wolverines beat Le Moyne 74-52 in an exhibition game.

Patrick Beilein is in his first season as Le Moyne's coach, and he brought his team to Ann Arbor to face Michigan.

John Beilein is starting his ninth season at the helm with the Wolverines. Patrick was a graduate assistant for him from 2008-10. Patrick Beilein was the director of basketball operations at Bradley in 2011, when the Braves lost 77-66 at Michigan.

Patrick is following in his father's footsteps at Le Moyne. John Beilein coached there from 1983-92.
