MLS All-Star shuffle: Roster changes ahead of game against Spurs
LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard will miss the MLS All-Star Game.
Gerrard featured on a list of four withdrawals released by MLS. The recently acquired midfielder featured as one of two picks by MLS commissioner Don Garber, but he withdrew as he continues to focus on his match fitness after his move to Southern California.
Galaxy teammate Robbie Keane, Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley and New England defender Chris Tierney will also remain with their clubs ahead of the showcase fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday. (live, 8:00p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports Go).
Bradley played every minute for the United States during the CONCACAF Gold Cup this month, while Tierney picked up a knock in the Revolution's 2-2 draw with Chicago on Saturday.
