OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) Monmouth Park will open its summer thoroughbred season with an 11-race card on Saturday.

The featured race will be the $60,000 Wolf Hill Stakes for 3-year-olds and up, with last year's winner Rainbow Heir entered in the five-furlong event on the turf. The New Jersey-bred son of Wildcat Heir has earned more than $500,000 in his career, with six of his 10 lifetime wins coming at Monmouth.

The centerpiece of Monmouth's season will be the $1 million betfair.com Haskell Invitational, to be run for the 50th time on July 30. The track's Grade 1 turf race, the $300,000 United Nations Stakes, will be the highlight of the Fourth of July weekend when it is run on July 1.
