FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Northern Arizona University announced Monday that junior wide receiver Emmanuel Butler and sophomore quarterback Case Cookus have both been selected to the STATS FCS All-America Second Team.

Butler, a native of Phoenix, Ariz., is the reigning single-season record holder for receiving yards after registering 1,208 last season for the Lumberjacks. The 6-foot-4 wideout tied the school record for touchdown catches in a season with 15, and was one of the top receivers in the FCS last year.

Cookus completed 37 touchdown passes; breaking an 11-year old FCS freshman record.  A native of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Cookus registered 3,117 passing yards – the sixth most in NAU history in a season. Cookus led the nation and tied the NAU single-game passing touchdowns record of seven, while finishing fifth in national offensive player of the year voting.
