New Mexico State risks 3-game win streak vs. Arkansas State

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- New Mexico State will try to stretch its winning streak to four games as it hosts Sun Belt Conference leaders Arkansas State for the annual Senior Day game on Saturday at 2 p.m. The game can be seen live on FOX Sports Arizona Plus.

The Aggies (3-7, 3-3 Sun Belt) are coming off a 37-34 victory at Louisiana-Lafayette. Sophomore quarterback Andrew Allen passed for 243 yards and four touchdowns in the victory, and sophomore running back Larry Rose III set a school single-season rushing record with a 191-yard performance -- bringing his season total to 1,481 yards.

Arkansas State (7-3, 6-0) had last week off following a 59-21 victory over Louisiana-Monroe. The Red Wolves defeated the Aggies 68-35 last season, but the Aggies lead the all-time series, 6-3.
