LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- The New Mexico State football team continues its quest for its elusive first victory when it hosts Idaho on Saturday. The game can be seen on FOX Sports Arizona Plus (5 p.m. in Arizona, 6 p.m. in New Mexico).

The Aggies fell to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in Sun Belt Conference play with last week's 52-7 loss to Troy. Sophomore running back Larry Rose III was a bright spot, rushing for 180 yards and gaining 67 yards through the air on five receptions. He also scored the Aggies' lone touchdown on a 13-yard pass from Andrew Allen. Rose has 871 rushing yards through the first seven games.

"We can play much better than we did last week," Aggies coach Doug Martin said.

The Vandals defeated the Aggies 29-17 last season in Moscow and hold a 15-6 edge in the all-time series.
