New threads: UCLA unveils Primeknit core football uniforms from adidas
Looking good, UCLA, looking good!
The Bruins unveiled their new Primeknit core football uniforms from adidas on Thursday. The gear will make its field debut on Sept. 5 vs. Virginia.
According to a release from the school, the uniforms were 'crafted with speed and valiance in mind' while 'paying homage to the UCLA tradition of grit and toughness.' They feature 'laser cut, gold metallic numbers with more breathability' and were inspired by the 'bright lights of Los Angeles.'
In 2013, the Bruins rolled out their midnight blue uniforms. These, along with the new Primeknit threads and the original blue and golds, make UCLA one of the snappiest-dressed teams in the Pac-12 ... even if, the Bruins have underachieved on the field.
Sorry, but Oregon still has the best swag.
