WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) New Zealand prop Joe Moody is likely to miss the remainder of the 2017 season after suffering a dislocated shoulder in Saturday's Rugby Championship test win over Argentina.
Moody will undergo surgery and might be sidelined for up to six months after he sustained the injury during the 39-22 victory over the Pumas.
Kane Hames has been called into the All Blacks squad for Saturday's test against South Africa in Auckland.
Moody's injury will test the All Blacks' front row depth after the departure of Charlie Faumuina to France and the loss of tighthead Owen Franks to a season-ending Achilles tendon injury.
