Pacers assign Niang to Mad Ants

The Indiana Pacers assigned seldom-used forward Georges Niang to their affiliate in the NBA’s Development League on Friday.

Niang joins the Fort Wayne Mad Ants after appearing in only one Pacers game since the All-Star break.

For the season he is averaging 0.9 points and 0.7 rebounds over 23 games.
