Packers' Rodgers, Clinton-Dix, Lang named to Pro Bowl
Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, guard T.J. Lang and quarterback Aaron Rodgers will represent the Green Bay Packers in the Pro Bowl, according to a statement issued by the team Tuesday night.
The award is a first for Clinton-Dix and Lang, although the latter has been an alternate for the last two seasons.
However, for Rodgers, Pro Bowl selections have become a routine honor.
Rodgers was first named to the Pro Bowl in 2009, before being named in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
The veteran quarterback has rounded into form after a rough start to the season, and now ranks second in the league with 32 touchdown passes on the season.
Clinton-Dix is the first Packers safety selected since Nick Collins in 2010 after racking up five interceptions.
Tackle David Bakhtiari and receiver Jordy Nelson were selected as first alternates, while receiver Davante Adams, defensive tackle Mike Daniels and fullback Aaron Ripkowski were also named alternates.
