It had been a while since tight end Jared Cook and linebacker Clay Matthews had appeared in a game for the Green Bay Packers.
If you thought they'd be eased in, guess again.
Matthews, who hadn't played since Oct. 20, played in a season-high 56 defensive snaps (86 percent, also a season high). The previous high for Matthews came in the season opener, when he played in 74 percent of the snaps at Jacksonville.
However, Matthews, clearly not playing at 100 percent, had only one tackle.
Despite not playing since Week 3, Cook was in on 43 offensive snaps (61 percent), which were his second-most (topped only in Week 2). Cook finished with six catches on 11 targets -- which were his combined totals in his first three games.
With Cook back, Richard Rodgers' snaps took a hit as he was in on just 21 snaps, or 30 percent, which were both season lows.

-- The Ha Ha Clinton-Dix 100 percent play watch continues as once again the safety never left the field on defense.
-- Jordy Nelson became the first offensive player who isn't an offensive lineman or quarterback to appear in every offensive play.
-- Backup quarterback Brett Hundley was in on four snaps (for the second straight week), which was one more than wide receiver Jeff Janis, who has fallen back out of favor. Even Geronimo Allison (11) had more snaps than Janis.
-- With Jake Ryan out due to injury, linebacker Joe Thomas was in on every defensive snap.
-- Carl Bradford, a 2014 draft pick, finally appeared in his first NFL game, playing on seven defensive snaps.
-- James Starks had 33 snaps on offense and had nine carries and six passing targets.
