Padres mid-game report: Dodgers lead 3-0, Buddy Reed hits 2 HR for Lake Elsinore

SAN DIEGO-- The Padres currently trail 3-0 heading to the top of the sixth inning.
Matt Kemp, who homered last night, got the party started for LA tonight with another home run. This one was of the two-run variety in the first inning off Padres starter Bryan Mitchell.
The outfielder added a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning. He has driven in all three Dodger runs.
Dodgers starter Alex Wood has kept the Padres at bay, allowing only one hit in five innings of work. He has struck out seven.
Buddy Reed hits two home runs
Reed, a second round draft pick in 2016, is having a big night for the Lake Elsinore Storm. The speedy outfielder is 3-4 with two home runs and six RBI.
Lake Elsinore currently leads 9-0 in the top of the 8th.
