There are many reasons why the life of an athlete is a truly amazing thing.

For instance, in the case of Blake Griffin, models will go on camera and explain why you should reach out to them and get together.

Samantha Hoopes did this on Wednesday when she made her pitch to the Clippers superstar, via TMZ.

Among the model's logic for why the two should hook up: Her last name is Hoopes and Griffin is a basketball player.

And they both have freckles.
