Panthers come to terms on one-year deals with Brickley, Brittain

SUNRISE, Fla. -- Florida Panthers General Manager Tom Rowe announced Monday that the Panthers have agreed to terms on one-year, two-way contracts with forward Connor Brickley and goaltender Sam Brittain.
The 24-year-old Brickley played 23 games with Florida this season recording five points (1-4-5). He played 45 games with Florida's American Hockey League affiliate the Portland Pirates, recording 27 points (12-15-27) and recorded one assist in five playoff games.
The 6-foot, 203-pound native of Everett, Mass., was originally selected by Florida in the second round (50th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
The 24-year old Brittain played in 25 games with Portland this season earning an 8-10-3 record, 2.79 goals against average and .906 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 226-pound native of Calgary, Alberta was originally selected by Florida in the fourth round (92nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
